Emanuel Vignato may soon leave Italy to play for Bayern.

After being linked with him all summer, Bayern Munich have reportedly submitted an official offer.

The 18-year-old broke through last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in 10 appearances for the relegated Flying Donkeys.

Initially it was reported that Lazio were ahead in the race to sign Vignato, after holding talks with Chievo and that a deal could be agreed soon. However, the competition has risen as Bayern Munich have now tabled in a concrete proposal, as reported by Sky Sport Italia‘s Gianluca Di Marzio.

Talks between Bayern and Chievo have reportedly been going on for a while now, but there is one big obstacle to overcome, as Emanuel would like to take his younger brother, Samuele to be included in the potential transfer, that would see both brothers moving to the Bavarian club.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the 15-year-old Samuele Vignato could leave for Germany in January, with negotiations for that move also under way.

Chievo’s price tag for Emanuel Vignato is said to be around €8 million, with Italian giants AC Milan said to be in the race for his signature as well, and in addition, they wouldn’t mind imminently adding his younger brother in their youth ranks.

Although partly of Brazilian extract, Emanuel represents Italy at youth level and is primarily a No 10, although he can play on either wing.
