The Norwegian is a hot prospect right now.
And one top club has moved up front for his signature.
Juventus have reportedly made an initial offer to red-hot RB Salzburg forward Erling Haaland. Haaland is sought after across Europe and it seems Juventus have made the first move.
The 19-year-old has already scored 28 goals in 21 games for Salzburg this season, including eight in the Champions League. The Norway forward is attracting interest from the world’s biggest clubs and Juventus are not prepared to wait around.
As a result, the Bianconeri have offered Haaland €3 million per season, according to Corriere dello Sport. His price-tag was already reaching €80 million, but reports swirled around this week that there was a release clause in his contract allowing him to walk away for €30 million. It can even be activated in January, so clubs are lining up to give him the best personal terms.
Juventus are looking to inject younger players into their attack, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Gonzalo Higuain and Mario Mandzukic all approaching the end of their careers. Haaland has been linked to the likes of Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund among others.
