According to reports from Sky, Everton and Watford are in advanced talks over Brazilian winger Richarlison. Richarlison had a pretty decent season with Watford in 2017-18, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists from 41 matches across all competitions.

When Richarlison joined Watford from Fluminese last summer, current Everton coach Marco Silva was in charge of Watford at the time. At the moment, Everton and Watford could reach an agreement of  £50 million. This would make the Brazilian the most expensive player in Everton’s history, overtaking the £45 million deal of Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea City.

Even though he has another 4 years left on his contract at Watford, it seems that he could soon become an Evertonian. Earlier, reports claimed that Everton were paying £35m for the 21-year old but clauses on his contract have now taken the amount to £50 million.

Richarlison is yet to play for the Brazilian senior team. However, he has played 10 U20 matches for them from 2016-2017, scoring three goals.
