Eddie Nketiah is expected to head out of Arsenal this January.

The England international has primarily played second fiddle to Gabriel Jesus and he would go further down the pecking order when a new striker arrives in January.

The academy graduate has been linked with West Ham, Crystal Palace and a few other Premier League clubs.

The Gunners want to sign a new striker in January but with FFP restrictions, they are unable to splash the cash on a new player.

Crystal Palace have reportedly made an initial offer but Arsenal has turned it down.

The Eagles now want to sign him on loan this month with an obligation to buy in the summer transfer window.

Fabrizio Romano claims Arsenal are still waiting for the right offer for the 24-year-old.

“Not just Crystal Palace – many clubs are interested in Eddie Nketiah. But it’s not easy for Arsenal to find a striker on the market right now. They won’t go for a panic buy in a crucial position, they won’t do something unless they’re 100% convinced about it.

All the players they like, for example Ivan Toney, are very expensive, or not available on the market like Victor Osimhen. It’s not an easy market, and that’s why before they give the green light to Nketiah they have to find another option on the market.”
