Fabrizio Romano confirms Chelsea’s plan to Sell Lewis Hall in next transfer window
Fabrizio Romano has revealed to Chelsea fans that the club plans to unload loanee Lewis Hall during the upcoming transfer season.
According to Romano, Chelsea has no doubts about selling the talented left-back, with a reported value of £30 million expected in their hands.
Fabrizio Romano on X, posted:
“Lewis Hall’s loan to Newcastle will become permanent soon, as it’s just considered matter of time.
Chelsea have no doubts on receiving £30m fee as profit for Financial Fair Play; Newcastle consider Hall one for long term, as Howe confirmed.”
Hall’s time at Chelsea has been nothing short of positive, with him establishing as a regular starter last season despite key players’ injuries. Despite proving his promise, Chelsea chose to loan him away, getting a profit with a buy-back clause included in the agreement.
Chelsea’s decision to loan Hall was an intelligent move meant for improving their financial condition during a slow transfer window. Yet, his time at Newcastle United has not gone as expected, with little playing time leaving a lot to be desired for the 19-year-old.
While Hall’s future remains unreliable Romano’s confirmation establishes Chelsea’s decision to divide company with the remaining fullback.
As the summer transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on Chelsea’s next move, as they attempt to recoup their investment in Hall.
