Lyon star happy in France
Lyon youngster Nabil Fekir has denied any interest in joining the Premier League this summer, after the midfielder announced his desire to remain in France.
The 21 year-old had an impressive campaign last season as Lyon secured Champions League qualification, with Fekir himself netting 15 goals in all competitions.
And this form had alerted the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool, who would have faced a £25 million price tag should the midfielder have looked to force a move from Ligue 1.
However, Fekir was quick to deny any speculation linking him with a move away, and said that he won’t entertain the thought of leaving the club of which he came through the youth system at.
Fekir Snubs Move
“There is so much talk of my departure but I honestly do not think that I will leave Lyon,” he said on his future.
“While in football it is said that you never know what the future holds, I will stay at Lyon regardless.”
