Anderson joined Manchester United in 2007 from Porto and has failed to make his mark at Old Trafford. Anderson has only started two games this season and reports have suggested he is not needed by Moyes or United anymore and can leave in this transfer window.
Fiorentina have shown interest in Anderson and could be his destination in the near future. Fiorentina and Daniele Prade who is the sporting director at the club, acknowledged the 25-year-old is a player the club are considering.
Prade told Sky Sport Italia: “Anderson is a player who Fiorentina likes and is following, but this certainly applies to many other players.”
The transfer if it goes ahead could initially be a loan move with a view to a permanent deal at the end of the loan if Fiorentina wish to sign Anderson. Although a lot of Manchester United fans hope to see signings especially in the midfield are, they look set to lose a midfielder in the transfer window.
