French side AS Monaco have told Real Madrid and Chelsea that their star-striker Radamel Falcao is not available for loan and will only be sold permanently if they pay £80million, double what the Ligue 1 side paid for him in the Summer.

After Monaco’s promotion to top-flight football in France, it was clear that they were going to spend big after they were taken over and had loads of money pumped into the club, and Atletico Madrid striker Falcao was their main target, and sure enough, they secured his services for £40million.

However, just months later, reports from Spain are suggesting that the Colombian wants out of the club already due to being paid half of what he thoughts.

Falcao was apparently told that he would earn around 14m euros a year, whereas he is actually earning 7m euros instead.

Premier League giants Chelsea are severely keen on signing the 27-yeaar-old and did want to loan him in January, however, according to French newspapers, the club are only willing to sell permanently for roughly £80m.

Although, it is reported that they would accept lower than that if The Blues were to offer Demba Ba or Fernando Torres as part of the deal.
