Former Premier League manager threatens to sue club

Marco Silva has threatened to take legal action against Watford for amounts in the range of £750,000 for unpaid compensation.

He was axed by Watford last month but has allegedly not received any payments amounting to his due fees from the Premier League club.

The 40-year-old had completed only six months of his two-year tenure, when he was axed, following the teams’s poor run of form. They managed to win just one game out of 11.

According to a report in The Times, it has been almost three weeks, but the ex-coach has not received any payment regarding his due salary.

He was sacked in January, with the club claiming that he had lacked focus, especially because Everton had tried to lure him with an offer.
