Ajax manager, Frank de Boer, would consider the Liverpool job if he was offered it, according to his brother, Ronald.
The Reds managerial job could become available very shortly with pressure growing on Brendan Rodgers, and after a 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford to fierce-rivals, Manchester United, officials at Anfield are seriously considering a change-up.
Despite guiding Liverpool to second place last season, Rodgers has struggled this year, with Liverpool sitting ninth in the league and already out of the Champions League after finishing third in their group.
De Boer is just one name mentioned in the running for the job, along with Jurgen Klopp from Borussia Dortmund, but according to Ronald de Boer, his brother would be seriously tempted if offered the role.
‘If Liverpool come now he would certainly think about it,’ De Boer’s brother Ronald said to Fox Sports.
‘He would certainly not close the door immediately, like he did two years ago.’
