Frank Lampard to stay at Manchester City

Manchester City midfielder, Frank Lampard, will stay on at the club for the whole season, earning a staggering £190k-a-week whilst doing so.

The Englishman was set to leave City in January, ready to start his MLS adventure with New York City, but that was then originally extended until the end of February, but it now seems that the veteran could play the whole season in England.

Lampard, who left Chelsea in the Summer after his contract expired, was earning around £150k-a-week at Stamford Bridge, but after signing for the American side, his weekly pay-packet increased by 30%.

The new MLS club is owned by Manchester City chief, Sheikh Mansour, and that is how the Lampard loan-deal came about, but after his impressive displays for City, they have already extended the deal until the end of the season.

The 36-year-old will stay at City until May before finally flying out to American to play in the MLS.
