Struggling Fulham look set to attempt an ambitious raid on fellow strugglers West Ham. In an attempt to improve their chances of survival Fulham could be set to make a bid for two of West Ham’s midfielders Mo Diame and Ravel Morrison.
Ravel Morrison has impressed many football fans this season with moments of brilliance throughout the season. His goal against Tottenham is a particular highlight, whilst even a goal he scored in training received a lot of attention through the media. There has even been speculation Morrison could be in Hodgson’s plans in the summer for the World cup. Morrison has always been viewed as a player with real potential, but his attitude has been questioned. However this season Morrison looks eager to show the talent many believe he possesses.
Manager Rene Meulensteen already knows Ravel Morrison form their time at Manchester United and Meulensteen will be keen to add to Fulham’s squad in their bid for survival. Although the offer is likely to be rejected as four million pound is deemed not enough for Ravel Morrison, it seems Fulham are willing to test West Ham’s resolve. Diame is rumoured to have a release clause of 3.5 million pound in his contract, but wages could set to be an issue if Fulham try to bring Diame to Craven Cottage.
January looks like it will be an interesting transfer window, especially for the clubs down the bottom of the Premier League.
