Wesley Sneijder believes due to the previous inside knowledge they have on how Mourinho works Glatasaray are well prepared to face Chelsea in the Champions league.
Players such as Sneijder and of course Didier Drogba have played under Jose Mourinho before and will know how the “special one” works.
Drogba became a Chelsea Legend and was first signed by Chelsea when Mourinho took the job. The two shared great success as did Sneijder and Mourinho they accomplished the treble in 2010.
However both players will now be plotting the downfall of their previous manager and hope to knock Chelsea out of the Champions League allowing their current club to progress through to the Quarter Finals.
Due to their knowledge of working under Mourinho they can now provide Galatasaray’s coaching staff with knowledge of how Mourinho works.
“Mourinho knows us well and that is an advantage but the same applies for us, we know Mourinho very well, perhaps better than the Chelsea players know us.
“Chelsea is a great side, everybody has to accept that, but if we show the same spirit we did against Juventus, we could achieve another big result.”
Chelsea are the favourites to progress from this tie, however Galatasaray will hope to give provide a European shock and progress to the quarter finals.
