Former-Tottenham Hotspur manager Glenn Hoddle is interested in returning to White Hart Lane in order to take over from recently-fired Andre Villas-Boas.
The 56-year-old, who was boss at the North London club back in 2001 is thought to be interested in the vacancy whether it be for the long-term or even for the short-term, and it would be his first managerial post since leaving Wolves back in 2006, despite several clubs being after him since then.
Despite only last two years at White Hart Lane during his first stint as boss, Hoddle did guide his side to a League Cup final, where they faced Chelsea, and the former-player also remains good friends with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
Villas-Boas was sacked yesterday morning after a recent run of poor results and Tim Sherwood has been put in temporary charge, but it is thought that Hoddle is amongst the favourites to take over permanently, as well as Fabio Capello and Michael Laudrup.
