Transfer window in Europe – Transfer window opening hours in Europe
Each year there are two football transfer windows in Europe. The longest transfer window is during the summer and lasts just over 12 weeks, while the transfer window at the beginning of the year is only under four weeks. In most places, the dates for transfers are the same but there are also the leagues that have made exceptions due to many reasons.
First and foremost, it applies to leagues such as the Allsvenskan which plays spring-autumn and therefore has a longer window in the winter while the summer transitions are not as great. However, it is then that most players leave the Swedish top league for games in one of the major leagues.
This is because the big clubs want to bring in their new acquisitions for their pre-season and not bring in a new player in the middle of the season unless they absolutely have to. Watch & Bet Football Here =>

What dates apply to Europe’s transfer window in football? In this article, you will find out all the dates related to the transfer window, both in European football and for the countries outside our continent where football is played. Some dates to keep an extra eye on are the dates when China may make its recruits.
The Chinese league has made a lot of big purchases over the past year for incredible sums and it will probably continue in the coming years, as the Asians want to create a high-quality league with some of the world’s best football players.
China has an advantage as their transfer window during the winter extends until the end of February, which means that they can recruit top players from the European leagues while the selling club can not bring in a replacement.
In Sweden, however, it is the opposite, as the transfer period for the Swedish clubs often closes a few weeks before the rest of Europe, which creates problems.
