Italian’s warning for new City boss
Carlo Ancelotti has warned Pep Guardiola that he will face the sack at some point in his career, saying it is a fate that no manager can avoid forever.
The Italian is widely regarded as one of the finest football coaches in the world having won the Champions League with both AC Milan and Real Madrid.
To add to that, he has also won the Serie A, the Premier League, the FA Cup and Ligue 1, but even he has been thrown out of the job on several occasions.
He was unceremoniously kicked out of Chelsea despite winning the double the season before and something very similar happened at Real Madrid a year after winning La Decima.
Guardiola is one of the few managers who can claim to be even more highly regarded than Ancelotti and has experienced tremendous success at both Barcelona and Bayern Munich, and, more impressively, left both on his own terms.
