Higuain unhappy at Napoli

Liverpool and Arsenal are currently tracking Gonzalo Higuain’s situation at Napoli. Italian sources have claimed that the striker is unhappy at the club and that he is looking for a way out.

Both Prem teams are continually being linked with a move for the forward, with Liverpool even reportedly offering a large sum of ÂŁ31m for his services, as the Reds look to bolster their strikeforce.

Brendan Rodger’s signing of Mario Balotelli has yet to pay off, with the Italian only scoring once so far since his move to Anfield and the club look likely to enter the market again in search of another goalscorer.

Meanwhile at the Emirates, the talk of Podolski leaving the club and the uncertainty of whether Giroud will return from injury as the same player he used to be, could force Arsene Wenger to also look into buying a new forward.

With Napoli currently in a tough financial situation they could end up selling Higuain in January and both Liverpool and Arsenal would be keen on moves for the player. His price-tag would be quite high and the Serie A side could ask for up to ÂŁ35m for the 26-year old. However, it is a price that both the Reds and the Gunners could be willing to pay.
