Celtic has received a huge boost in Odsonne Edouard injury situation.

The player picked up an injury in the last Scottish Premiership match against Motherwell and had to leave the field in the 38th minute.

Celtic has received a huge boost in their injury crisis situation as young striker Odsonne Edouard, who is currently leading the line for them in absence of Leigh Griffiths, has been declared fit to take part in the matches against Aberdeen and Rangers. This comes as a huge development for the Hoops after they watched the Frenchman limping off the field in the 38th minute of their last match against Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership.

Sources have confirmed that the player will be out of the next match against Dundee. They said, “It didn’t look too clever on Wednesday night but the news has been more encouraging today. It certainly looks as if the game against Dundee will be a bit too soon for Odsonne. But the indications we’re getting suggest has a good chance of being ready for the matches against Aberdeen and Rangers.”

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers had to bring on young Mikey Johnston to replace the injured Edouard in the first half itself and the rookie winger took the opportunity with both hands to make it a memorable outing for him as well as the club. He scored his first goal for the Hoops in quite an emphatic style to send the whole stadium in a frenzy and sealed a resounding 3-0 victory for his side to take them to the top position, leapfrogging arch-rivals Rangers by a single point.
