Ligue 1 star Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes football will never find a player as good as former Real Madrid forward Ronaldo.
Ronaldo, known as ‘El Fenomeno’ during his elustrious career, won 13 titles in many countries with different clubs as well as two World Cups with Brazil in 1994 and 1998.
Ibrahimovic has played against Cristiano Ronaldo, who many argue as being the current best player in the world, but the PSG striker believes Brazilian Ronaldo is still the greatest player he has ever faced.
Ibra told Sports Illustrated: “The best opponent of my career? I’ve played against many, many good players, so I don’t know who to keep. But I would say Ronaldo, ‘El Fenomeno’.
“Why? Because he was my idol and because, as a football player, he was complete,”
“There will never, in my view, be a better player than him.”
Ronaldo, who scored over 350 goals in just over 500 clubs games during a creer which saw many problems with injury, retired form the game in 2011.
