Pogba, 21, is on Jose Mourinho’s radar after another fine season in Italy, scoring nine goals and assisting 16 in all competitions.
Chelsea have already signed Cesc Fabregas and will have spent in excess of £60m when Diego Costa’s move is confirmed, with Juventus wanting at least that amount again for Pogba alone.
However, the Serie A giants may not let the Frenchman leave at all due to interest from Arsenal and United in fellow centre-midfielder Vidal.
The Chile international, who netted nine goals and set up 16 last season, is reportedly available for a fee of £44m, with Arsenal leading the chase for his services.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has made no secret of his admiration for the 27-year-old, which could end Chelsea’s hopes of signing Pogba.
“Vidal is one of the best midfielders in the world,” Wenger said. “He has everything. Incredible stamina, perfect timing. He’s a marathon athlete who plays football.”
