Carlo Ancelotti has said that ignorant and rude people come to stadiums in Italy.

The Napoli manager’s comments came while discussing the impact of racism on Italian football.

Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti has blamed the Serie A clubs of allowing ignorant and rude people into their stadiums. The former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager was discussing the impact of racism on the Serie A. One such incident that happened in the match against Napoli vs Inter Milan could influence the departure of the Napoli defensive ace Kalidou Koulibaly, who has been closely linked with a move to Manchester United in January.

Speaking to the students of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, the Italian gaffer said, “Violence and racism? I was lucky enough to work abroad for nine years and these things have been eradicated in those countries. It’s something that Italy must do as a country and it’s not that complicated. Unfortunately, ignorant and rude people continue to go to stadiums. They should take courses in education and respect. Enough is enough now. Kean was insulted in Bologna the other night and it doesn’t make sense.”

He added, “They insult Napoli when Napoli aren’t even playing. I’ve heard that Ancelotti can’t say the games should be suspended, but we never asked for that! Maybe it’s me who doesn’t understand. We only said that when there’s a territorial or racial insult, and not only against Napoli, the game must stop temporarily, like in Bologna. Maybe there will be an announcement and then after that, the game resumes. Games stop when it rains heavily, so the same thing should apply for chants.”
