Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that defender Glen Johnson is fit to face Fulham this weekend.
The England international has had an injury-hit campaign so far and was forced to miss the Arsenal game due to a jaw injury which saw him end up in hospital.
However, Rodgers has confirmed in his press conference that the right-back is fit and ready to face Fulham on Saturday.
“Glen Johnson will be fit,” Brendan Rodgers said. “He’s fine. He’s trained this week – it was just one of those peculiar things that happened.
“Maybe if it had been a day earlier, he may have been able to play (against Arsenal). But he’s fine for the game and has looked good in training this week.”
