Inter Milan eyeing loan deal for Manchester United star
Out of favour at the Old Trafford, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is being eyed by Inter Milan for a loan move in January.
Reports state that Mkhitaryan is set to be sold by Manchester United when the transfer window opens, and the Italian club is interested in getting him on loan for an entire season.
Currently bound by the UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations, they cannot splurge money next month, or at the end of the season. If reports in the Gazzetta dello Sport are to be believed, the Italian club only wants to rope in the Armenian on loan, and cannot commit to buying the player in the summer.
The 28-year-old, who previously played for Borussia Dortmund, has been out of favour at the Old Trafford, with his relationship with Jose Mourinho having soured over the last few months. He, however, returned, for only his second appearance since November 5, during the side’s 2-1 loss to Bristol City in their Carabao Cup clash.
