Inter Milan Looking To Raise €50m From Christian Eriksen Sale

According to reports, Inter Milan are looking to move Christian Eriksen only eight months into signing him.

Antonio Conte acquired him from Tottenham Hotspur last January for €27.5m.

Unfortunately, it has not been smooth sailing for the Denmark international in the Serie A. He has dropped in and out of Inter’s starting lineup and is not guaranteed a regular spot next season.

If Conte were to be successful in getting Arturo Vidal from Barcelona, Eriksen could be sold to raise funds. Corriere dello Sport understands that Inter want nothing less than €50m from the midfielder’s sale, which nearly double of what they originally spent.

In the current financial layout, it will be difficult for clubs to meet their demands but Christian Eriksen remains a very attractive prospect. He is still only 28 and packs a lot of creativity in his game. He can unlock defences with his vision and passing range and can also play in various positions.

Real Madrid previously held an interest in the former Ajax player but have since moved on to other targets. If Eriksen were to stay with the Nerazzurri, he will grow definitely grow frustrated.
