Lucas Leiva is currently holding talks with Inter Milan over a potential loan deal. The Brazilian reportedly wants out at Anfield and according to Tuttosport, his representatives have begun speaking to the Serie A side over a potential January move.
The 27-year old’s representatives have flown to Italy to try and reach an agreement and they are hopeful that a deal can be done by the time the winter transfer window opens. Roberto Mancini is believed to want to strengthen his squad heavily in January and Lucas is believed to be one of his main targets.
Napoli were also keen on a permanent deal back in summer but their interest has cooled for the moment, while it was also reported that there had been offers from South America. However, it now appears that Inter could be the team he ends up at.
