Manchester City midfielder, James Milner, could be on his way to Liverpool in the Summer with some reports claiming a £90k-a-week contract has been offered.
Milner is set to become a free agent at the end of the season with his contract expiring at the Etihad Stadium, and with no contract talks in the pipeline, the Englishman could soon sign a pre-contract with English clubs.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal have been linked with the midfielder over the past few months, but according to reports, The Reds have moved first by offering him £90k-a-week.
The 29-year-old is expected to leave City due to lack of first-team opportunities, and despite playing more regularly this season, he is still keen on an exit to ensure first-team football.
Milner is currently on £120k-a-week at City, but has been told by Liverpool that he would need to drop his demands if he wants to join Anfield, and £90k is as high as they are prepared to offer.
