Jamie Carragher thinks Liverpool are the biggest challengers for Man City.
The Reds picked up a comfortable 3-0 win over Brentford last night and are just one point behind league leaders Manchester City.
Man City played out an epic draw with Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge last night but are still ruling the league table.
They only have a one-point lead over Liverpool and Arsenal, who currently occupy the second and third spots respectively.
Liverpool closed the gap with their spectacular 3-0 win over Thomas Frank’s men and club legend Jamie Carragher claims Liverpool are the biggest threat to Man City winning their sixth title in seven years.
‘Why shouldn’t Liverpool go there and believe that they can be in this title race?’ Carragher said on Sky Sports.
‘They are the one team that’s really pushed Manchester City over these last few years.
‘It is a new Liverpool team, but they could still be Manchester City’s biggest challengers because they’ve got players and a manager who has been there before.
‘But City, it feels like we haven’t seen the real City so far this season and they’re still top of the league.’
