Sky Sports pundit, Jamie Carragher, has hailed Chelsea for their transfer business so far this season and has admitted that he wants their negotiators at Liverpool one day.
The Blues had a busy Summer changing their squad and then made further changes in the January window, selling Andre Schurrle and loaning out Mohamed Salah, whilst bringing in Juan Cuadrado.
Chelsea managed to make £22million for the Schurrle deal, which surprised Carragher as he doesn’t think he’s worth anywhere near that, and the pundit then went on to praise the Chelsea workers for getting incredible fees for previous transfers too.
“Chelsea have done the best business in the league there’s no doubt about that,” he told Sky Sports.
“If they go on to win the league they should have a winners medal for the man who gets the transfer fees in for them.
“£50m for David Luiz, £37m for Juan Mata, £28m for Lukaku and Schurrle will be the same. I hope whoever is doing their business ends up at Liverpool one day.”
