Mexico national team manager, Miguel Herrera, believes that Javier Hernandez should leave Manchester United this summer. The forward was limited to just six starts in the last Premier League campaign and he has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with Inter Milan reportedly interested.

He contributed 9 goals last season and faces a new season under a new manager in Louis Van Gaal. Now, the Mexico team coach believes the time is right for Hernandez to move on and seek football elsewhere. He said:

“In the case of ‘Chicharito’ I believe it’d be in his interest to leave so he is taken into consideration to play.”

The 25-year old himself spoke to ‘Record’ and claimed he will consider his future after the World Cup, saying:

“There is obviously uncertainty regarding my future, but right now I am fully focused on the national team. My agent and my staff help me work it all out. My future could be decided tomorrow, a little after or within three months. I could stay there in Manchester, I really don’t know.”
