Liverpool captain confirms Jurgen Klopp will strengthen side
Jordan Henderson has dropped a massive hint that there could be more signings arriving at Liverpool this month, with Jurgen Klopp keen to strengthen the squad.
The Reds have already welcomed Marko Grujic and Steven Caulker to their ranks, as well as giving Simon Mignolet a new long-term contract, and Henderson believes Klopp will continue to strengthen in this window.
In recent weeks Liverpool have been linked with a couple more names, with Southampton‘s Shane Long and Schalke‘s Joel Matip both linked with a move to Anfield, and the skipper believes it’s only a matter of time before the manager makes more additions.
However, Henderson has also admitted the current players need to step up more and deliver so that they make Klopp’s job as easy as possible.
Henderson Hints At Deals
“But us as players we just have to give everything for now and try to win as many games, put in as many performances as possible.
“I really believe we have a good squad of players but we need to be winning.
“The way that we played and the chances that we had [against Manchester United] we need to be winning the game but we never did.
“We need to be better in certain areas but we need to keep going right until the end of the season and see where we are.”
