Super agent confirms Chelsea boss has no plans on walking away
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has no plans on leaving Stamford Bridge despite the shocking start to the new campaign, according to super agent Jorge Mendes.
The Blues boss has been under severe pressure after seeing his side lose six of their first 11 matches in the Premier League, but according to Mendes, he won’t walk away.
Questions have been raised regarding his long-term future and whether Roman Abramovich will stick by him, but if he does want a change, he will have to sack Mourinho.
Several names have been mentioned, but as it stands Chelsea are prepared to stick by Mourinho and will continue to back him to turn their fortunes around.
Mendes Backs Mourinho
Speaking about the manager, Mendes told BBC that he will never walk away from the club.
“He knows what to do. Many people are saying these things but there is no chance [he will leave].
“He will solve the problem. He is the best.”
