The attacking midfielder’s exit is growing closer
Chelsea playmaker Charly Musonda is a rumoured target for London rivals Arsenal, as the youngster’s time at Stamford Bridge looks to be at an end.
Reports suggest that the Belgium under 21s international is considering his future at the Blues, as he believes the route from Chelsea’s youth team to the first team is a difficult one.
On the other hand the Gunners’ boss Arsene Wenger is a strong believer in youth and often promotes the club’s young players into the first team, something that might well persuade Musonda.
A number of Chelsea’s youth prospects are part of the 34 players the club has loaned out to other teams, which shows just how hard it is to break into the senior squad.
The 19-year old Musonda has been valued at around £10 million but that hasn’t stopped any interest from both Arsenal and Ligue 1 side Monaco.
