Chinese Super League want former-Chelsea boss to help reputation

Jose Mourinho is considering a major role in the Chinese Super League, according to reports.

The Portuguese is still unemployed following his dismissal from Chelsea, and despite being strong favourite to replace Louis van Gaal at Manchester United, it’s reported that he’s considering a special offer from China.

Several star-names on the pitch have started a venture in China, with Ramires, Jackson Martinez and Alex Teixeira the latest to move out there, but now they are considering Mourinho for a major role to help improve the league further.

According to reports, Mourinho and his agent, Jorge Mendes, were out in China the other week holding talks with Zhang Dazhong, who is the chief executive of Chinese marketing company Alisports.

Mourinho Role In China

It’s believed Dazhong is trying to create a major role for Mourinho in order to help improve the league and in order to enhance it’s image and reputation.

It’s reported that the job offer would firmly be on Mourinho’s terms, and it’s expected that it won’t be a manager role and he will be able to leave said role should he want to return to Europe to manage.

Initial reports claim that the job would require him to offer advice on how to improve the league and also how to develop it further.
