Chelsea boss still isn’t happy about selling to Arsenal

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is still fuming at Petr Cech for joining Arsenal, according to reports.

The Blues boss was adamant that he would never sell to strengthen a direct title-rival, but after Roman Abramovich stepped in, The Special One had to reluctantly accept the deal.

Dropped

Cech was dropped from being Chelsea‘s number-one last season after Thibaut Courtois returned from a three-year spell with Atletico Madrid, and despite staying for last season, Cech made it clear that he was ready to leave.

However, the veteran ‘keeper made it obvious to Chelsea that he wanted to stay in London, ruling out a move abroad which Mourinho initially wanted.

Transfer Away

Cech told both Mourinho and Abramovich that he wanted to stay in the England capital for the sake of his family and children.

Mourinho refused to process the deal to Arsenal, but Abramovich stepped in and gave the ‘keeper permission to say thank you for his loyal services over the years.

According to reports, the deal is still killing Mourinho and he is still fuming that the deal was completed.
