Manager doesn’t want Bernabeu reunion
Former-Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has turned down the Real Madrid job, according to reports.
The Portuguese was sacked by the Premier League outfit earlier this season following a dismal start to the new campaign.
Mourinho left Chelsea 16th in the league following nine losses in their opening 16-games, and has now been replaced at Stamford Bridge by Guus Hiddink.
Since leaving his role in West London, Mourinho has been linked with several jobs, including the likes of AS Monaco, AS Roma, Manchester United and even Real Madrid.
Madrid Snubbed
However, the manager has reportedly snubbed the chance to rejoin the Bernabeu outfit, giving United fresh hope in their pursuit should they sack Louis van Gaal.
According to reports, the 52-year-old has already told Madrid president Florentino Perez that he won’t be returning to the Bernabeu.
