Chelsea Football Club are set to offer Jose Mourinho a new five-year deal.
The Blues are well on their way to winning the Premier League title and could also be successful in the cup competitions, with their final booked against Tottenham Hotspur in the Capital One Cup, and their chances in the Champions League.
Mourinho’s side picked up a respectable 1-1 draw in France against Paris Saint-Germain and are now expected to advance into the Quarter Finals of the European cup.
The Portuguese’s current contract expires in two years time, but officials at Chelsea want more stability around the club and are now prepared to offer him a new five year deal which will see him contracted until 2020.
As well as Mourinho, Chelsea are ready to offer John Terry a one-year deal and these two offers come after the club managed to secure the long-term future of Eden Hazard.
