Manchester United have quite a strong squad at their disposal and they are among the favorites to win the Premier League title this season. However, Jose Mourinho says that he is pretty worried about how the team will fare.
Talking to reporters during Manchester United’s pre-season tour, Mourinho said, “Pre-season is very bad, I have to say that. Everything is really bad. I’m worried. I have to be worried. I’m worried because I’m not training and then go to the Premier League without lots of players.
Mourinho added, “Against Leicester and Brighton the situation is not amazing for us.” Mourinho has currently refused to even discuss his teams chances at the Premier League this season.
The Red Devils have a number of injury concerns at present with new signing Diogo Dalot suffering from a knee injury while Antonio Valencia injured himself against United’s International Champions Cup match against Milan. Manchester United begin their Premier League campaign against 2015-16 winners Leicester City at Old Trafford on 10th August.
