Juventus are making moves to sign Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata in the January transfer window.
The Italian giants are closing in on Mata, who bas struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford this season after the arrivals of Radamel Falcao and Angel Di Maria.
After signing from Chelsea in January, Mata has found himself mostly on the bench under new boss Louis Van Gaal.
And now he could find himself following Shinji Kagawa, Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez out of the United exit door.
Van Gaal has tried a number of different formations this season, with varying degrees of success. But one thing that has been constant is a lack of game-time for Mata.
Juventus are preparing a £20M bid for the Spanish midfielder. as a possible replacement for Arturo Vidal, wanted by both United and Real Madrid.
Mata could also be tempted with a return to his former club Valencia, who are also reportedly interested.
