Juventus continue unbeaten streak against Torino

Juventus lined up with the pairing of Carlos Tevez and Giovinco up at top, while resting Andrea Pirlo on the bench. Not starting Pirlo doesn’t really calm the rumours surrounding the 34-year old maestro, who has been linked with BPL clubs Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.

After a goalless first half that left the crowd wanting more, Paul Pogba showed off his reflexes after a Juve corner that hit both the bar and Carlos Tevez’s head. The ball bounced pretty much all over the place until Pogba at last put his head to it in the 52nd minute and Padelli in the Torino goal stood without a chance.

The game ended 1-0, and Juventus hasn’t lost away at Torino since 1995 and have also kept a clean sheet in the last nine derbys.
