Juventus Drop Out Of Paul Pogba Chase

According to the latest reports, Paul Pogba is no longer on Juventus’ shortlist.

Manchester United and Pogba’s relationship has turned sour over the years.

His return to Old Trafford after a prolific spell at Juve has been marred by injuries, inconsistent displays and fan abuse. There is no love lost between the two parties at this point. His agent, Mino Raiola is publicly seeking a move out with three big names said to be interested.

Either one of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus were tipped to whisk him away last summer or the one after. But the latest reports claim that all three have dropped their pursuit of the 27-year-old.

Pogba’s transfer won’t come cheap and his wages will be one to draw some sweat. The Frenchman also has not been at his best for a long period now, putting up woeful performances one after the other. Unless a manager fully believes in his abilities, there will be no point in bringing in such a maverick.

It would be understandable in the current financial climate, all clubs will be looking to steer clear of too expensive names. Real, PSG and Juve could be looking at alternate options who could fill in for Pogba. But rest assured, the Frenchman still commands a solid fanbase and is believed to have the ability to turn games by himself.
