Reports suggest that Juventus want to sign Manchester City star Leroy Sane. Chairman Andrea Agnelli wants a ‘young Cristiano Ronaldo’ at the club. Sane was one of the best players in last season’s Premier League. He scored 10 goals and provided 15 assists as Manchester City won the title with a record 100 points. However, his performances were not enough to find a place in Germany’s World Cup squad.
This season, the Germany international made substitute appearances for City in their first three matches. However, he has started for them in their last two league matches, scoring against Fulham and assisting against Cardiff City.
Reports claim that it might take a year or two to finalize a deal for Sane but Juventus are eager to wait that long to rope in one of the most talented youngsters in the game.
Sane has been one of Manchester City’s most crucial players since joining the club from Schalke in 2016. So far, he has played93 matches for the club, scoring 24 goals and providing 29 assists.
Hence, Manchester City won’t be willing to let go of him that easily.
