The Serie A side are on the lookout for a new striker

Juventus are planning a move for Olivier Giroud, according to reports from Italy.

The Arsenal striker is apparently one of a number of targets for the Italian side, who are keen to bring in some fresh firepower when the transfer window re-opens in January.

The 30-year old has only featured four times for the Gunners so far this season and not only is he yet to score but he was also sent off in his side’s clash with PSG in the Champions League too.

Mandzukic on the way out

Despite his lack of goals so far this season, Juventus are willing to bring him to Italy. They want a new forward, with Mario Mandzukic potentially on his way out of the club.

Giroud could be available for around ÂŁ20m and although he has been with Arsenal for four years now, they could be willing to let him go if an offer comes in, as they have coped well without him so far this season.

However, he isn’t Juventus’ only target. These same Italian reports have claimed that Divock Origi is another striking option for them and he may potentially be the preferred option as well to Arsenal’s Giroud.
