The Old Lady are readying an £18.3 million bid for the Spaniard
Juventus are preparing a revised £18.3 million bid for Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata, according to reports.
The Spanish international is one of the players Juve have targeted to replace the potentially outgoing Paul Pogba.
United manager Louis van Gaal is planning another summer spending spree, but has been warned he must sell to buy.
But van Gaal will be unwilling to relinquish one of his prized assets.
Mata has been at the forefront of United’s recent revival which has seen them climb to 3rd in the Premier League table.
The 26 year old was bought in January 2014 for a then club record fee of £37.1 million by David Moyes.
Juve are also after Chelsea’s Oscar and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
