Chelsea could be set to miss out on a managerial candidate after reports emerged that Serie A champions Juventus want to appoint Jorge Sampaoli as their next manager.
The former-Chile head-coach is currently unemployed after leaving his role with the national side, but after winning them the Copa America last summer, he’s been tipped for a bright future in club management.
In fact, Sampaoli came third in UEFA‘s Manager of the Year, and his impressive record with Chile saw him be linked with the permanent role at Chelsea.

However, according to reports, Juve are also keen on hiring him, with fears that Massimiliano Allegri could be set to leave Turin.
The current Juventus boss is another that’s been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, so if Sampaoli does take over at The Old Lady, at least Roman Abramovich will have Allegri as an option.
