Spartak Moscow midfielder Kim Kallstrom has completed a medical at Arsenal Football Club ahead of a potential loan-move to the Premier League.
The Gunners are seriously low on midfielders due to injuries to; Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Abou Diaby and also suspension to Mathieu Flamini, and it looks like the Swedish international will be joining the North London side until the end of the season.
Kallstrom, who spent a long-time in France with Lyon, has been at Arsenal’s training ground all day and has already met all the players and has just completed his medical.
All that is left to complete now is the paperwork and then Arsenal can officially announce the deal.
There were no problems found during the medical of the 31-year-old and the announcement is expected to be made before 11pm tonight, which is when the window slams shut.
