Real outcast looks to finally leave

West Ham and Everton have been offered the chance to sign Croatia international Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid.

The 22-year-old Croatia international also has interest from Juventus but is interested in a move to the Premier League where he believes he could flourish.

Kovacic is a box to box player who can also play as the holding midfielder and has an edge to his game which could be suited to England.

He was bought by Rafa Benitez from Inter Milan but has struggled for games alongside Madrid’s stellar cast and wants to kickstart his career. Madrid will sell for ÂŁ30million, which is prohibitive to most, but are open to allowing him out on loan.

Nouveau riche Everton have been discussing Chelsea and Napoli target Axel Witsel at Zenit St Petersburg, Morgan Schneiderlin of Manchester United and William Carvalho of Sporting Lisbon.

Polish winger Kamil Grosicki, 28, at Rennes remains a target for Ronald Koeman also.
