Bayern Munich star, Toni Kroos has told German newspaper, Blind that he has no desire to move to Manchester United in the summer.
The player has been linked heavily with a transfer to United this summer and it seemed that a move to Old Trafford would, in fact, happen with the arrival of Louis Van Gaal.
However, reports have emerged that Van Gaal is not keen on bringing the player to England and has his own list of targets to help the club compete in the league next season.
And it seems even more likely that a move for Kroos will not happen, after the player admitted to Blind that he expects to stay at Bayern and sign a new contract.
“I am expecting to play for Bayern Munich next season,” he said. “There was a lot of speculation, but Manchester is and was not an issue.
“At this point in time I am fully focused on preparations for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.”
