Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has admitted that he is targeted by the pranksters at the club.
The young centre-back joined The Blues in January after agreeing a switch from French side Saint Etienne, who he then returned to on loan for the remaining months of the season.
Zouma has now returned to Stamford Bridge and despite intial plans to go back out on loan for the season, the youngster has remained in West London and is set to stay at the club for the season ahead, challenging for a first-team spot alongside John Terry and Gary Cahill.
After being asked about his time at Chelsea, Zouma admitted that being the new youngster around, a lot of jokers play pranks on him and have a laugh at his expense.
He told L’Equipe: “Diego Costa is very, very crazy. Sometimes he gives me a slap across the head and tells me: ‘Go’.
“Ivanovic makes a lot of jokes too.
“Afterwards the group laugh a little about my age because, well, I’m a big man for 19-years-old.
“Even the coach when we were going for the blood test jokingly said, ‘Here, now we’ll see if you lied about your age’.
“But really they’re cool, easy.”
