Kurzawa wanted by both City and Chelsea

Chelsea and Man City have both put Monaco wonderkid Layvin Kurzawa on their wanted list, as they look to sign someone instead of Luke Shaw. Premier League clubs currently chasing Southampton left-back Shaw now believe Man United will get the players signature, so they are looking elsewhere.

Kurzawa has been tracked by both Chelsea and Man City in the past few weeks and a move could be made for him by both teams in summer. The 21-year old has represented France at junior level and is now a candidate to go to the World Cup with Les Bleus this summer.

He started his career at Monaco as a midfielder aged just 15, but switched to the left-back position because of his tackling ability and pace. Bayern Munich also have the youngster on their radar and he would cost ÂŁ18m to any of the three teams currently chasing him.

Man United have previously watched him, but as mentioned before the priority for them is ÂŁ25m rated Luke Shaw, who is growing ever closer to a Red Devils move. Old Trafford is believed to be the players preferred destination over any other side.

But it need not matter to Chelsea and Man City, as Kurzawa is now the man on their they are chasing instead.
