On Saturday a picture of Markovic in the airport in Lisbon en route to Liverpool started doing the rounds on social media, whilst Reds fans wait patiently to hear that the deal has finally been concluded.
Then, on Sunday morning, Markovic posted a goodbye message to Benfica on his Facebook wall.
Now, on Sunday evening, a picture has been posted on social media sites showing that Markovic has finally touched down on Merseyside as the player took a picture with a random fan in the street.
